- Plus, with the band based in the UK it was easier
to keep tabs on what Sid and the band were up to.
Surely other fans were crying out for a regular
source of news and someone who shared their
enthusiasm for the band. Rebels Without Applause
was born. Since then over a dozen issues have
been put out, as well as an A4 compilation of
issues 1-10 called How Did We Get This Far?
- I try to put out 2 issues per year but this
largely depends on the amount of band activity
that has been going on. It also depends on the
amount of input I get from other people.
Currently this is very low so, reviews, articles,
suggestions and ideas are always welcome. If I
have to write the entire fanzine, it all involves
research, writing and editing which takes time,
especially if I can't come up with decent ideas.
I try to make each issue a minimum of 28 pages -
anything less isn't really worth putting out.

- The Webpage
- The webpage went live in November 1999 at www.curley37.freeserve.co.uk
and moved to this site over a number of months
from mid-2000. As much as anything, its aim is to
spread the word about the fanzine worldwide,
which isn't easy to do cheaply though magazine
adverts. It is not intended to replace the
fanzine, but to compliment it and to act as a
permanent advert for it. It now has sections on
all of Sid Griffin's musical activities, details
on issues of the fanzine past, present and
future, gig and record reviews, song lyrics,
photos and the latest news on what Sid and the
band are up to.
